32nd Anniversary of New York State Festival of Balloons, Aug 29 – Sept 2, 2013 Dansville, NY 14437
I love the hot air balloon fest, as evidenced by this blog’s logo and profile picture! They are just so pretty. And at the festival, you can see soooo many balloons, all kinds of shapes and sizes. It’s actually pretty incredible! Last year my daughter and I went for a tethered balloon ride and it was awesome! It’s so quiet and peaceful up there :)

There are food vendors, craft vendors, and inflatable amusement for kids (bounce houses, obstacle course, etc.)

Last year it was a little breezy at the time of life off (6pm) and some balloons could not get up and going, but many of them did and it was a fantastic site.
