Meaning “Always Beautiful”, the western most Finger Lakes (25 miles south of Rochester) is a quiet, lake bordered with cottages and year-round homes. Lakeville and Livonia are on the northern end, and Conesus is on the south (by the way, it’s pronounced con-KNEE-shus). The lake is 8 miles long. Conesus Lake is not far from Interstates 390 and 90 and is a water source for nearby areas.
Outdoor and Water Sports like fishing, water skiing, swimming, etc. are favorite activities on Conesus Lake. Once the lake freezes in the winter, you will find people snowmobiling and ice fishing as well.
Vitale Park, on the northern end, is a nice and the North Shore Grill is a great place for drinks or a nice dinner.
