I am waiting oh-so-patiently for my Photo Calendars to arrive (they’ll be here Wednesday and I’ll ship them out to customers right away). In the mean time, there are a few Finger Lakesy stuff I want to share with you from my fellow blogging peeps around the ‘net.
1. Are you an “It’s a Wonderful Life” fan? It’s one of my favorite Christmas movies! Jennifer Morrisey from Home In The Finger Lakes wrote a lovely post about George Bailey’s bridge in Seneca Falls. Read that here.
2. Do you know about the upside down traffic signal in Syracuse? It is believed to be the only one in the world. It’s an interesting story, and you can read about it here on Chris Clemens’ blog, Exploring Upstate.
3. Slow Road is a documentary series capturing the spirit of place on the roads less traveled. An ongoing project by Rochesterian Benjamen Woelk, you can catch new episodes of Slow Road on Vimeo. In episode #2, many slow roads are explored around the Finger Lakes, taking the Slow Road due to Naples and Roots Cafe. Check it out!
